In October, China TCM held the Brand Strategy Press Conference for Dragon Seal Sino TCM brand, and this brand has been applied to business segments such as seeds and seedlings, TCM decoction pieces, concentrated TCM granules, finished drugs, and products of homology of medicine and food.
China TCM introduced Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China Ltd. as the strategic investment partner to jointly explore the development potential in the field of healthcare complex.
In order to futher improve the overall layout of TCM industrial chain, China TCM successively acquired high-quality enterprises such as Shanghai Tongjitang, Beijing Huamiao, Fujian Chengtian Jinling, Sichuan Sino Tianjiang, Sinopharm Zhonglian, and invested and built local TCM integrated operation bases in Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Hunan, Yunnan, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Guangxi and other places.
In July, China TCM officially renamed as China Traditional Chinese Medicine Holdings Co. Limited.
In November, China TCM completed merger and acquisition of Shanghai Tongjitang Guizhou Tongjitang Decoction Pieces, and actively promoted the coordinated development of TCM decoction pieces and concentrated TCM granules.
In October, China TCM successfully acquired Tianjiang Pharmaceutical and its wholly-owned subsidiary — Yifang Pharmaceutical, which made the largest merger and acquisition in the industry that year, and also established the leading position of China TCM in the field of concentrated TCM granules.
In November, Fengliaoxing TCM Clinic officially opened, marking the official departure of the company’s TCM healthcare complex business.
In February, CNPGC held Winteam Pharmaceutical through Sino TCM, starting to build a ten-billion traditional Chinese medicine industrial base, and Winteam pharmaceutical entered the fast lane of rapid development.
In September, Winteam Pharmaceutical acquired Tongjitang Pharmaceutical, further enriching the product portfolio and market share of finished drugs.
In November, Winteam Pharmaceutical was renamed as China Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. (“China TCM”).
Winteam Pharmaceutical incorporated Fengliaoxing Pharmaceutical and Dezhong Pharmaceutical, Medi-world Pharmaceutical and other finished drugs enterprises in Foshan to realize the overall listing.
Sino TCM was incorporated into CNPGC and became its wholly-owned subsidiary.
China Medicinal Materials Company (“Sino TCM”) was established, which was in charge of the comprehensive balance of production, supply and marketing of traditional Chinese medicine throughout the country and industry management, making indelible historical contributions to the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine.
