Guangdong Yifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Technology Research Center has set up the “Guangdong TCM Formula Granules Engineering Technology Research and Development Center”, which is recognized as the Provincial Enterprise Technology Center and National Post-doctoral Workstation in Guangdong Province.
The company has a R&D area of more than 2,000 m2, mainly including Standard Research and Quality Testing Center, Process R&D Laboratory and Pilot Test Center, etc.
Standard Research and Quality Testing Center consists of standardized laboratory, physicochemical laboratory, microbes test laboratory, high performance liquid chromatography testing laboratory, gas chromatography testing laboratory, infrared spectroscopy laboratory, atomic spectroscopy (ICP) testing laboratory and other precision instrument rooms and specialized laboratories. Standard Research and Quality Testing Center is equipped with over 100 sets of domestic advanced research equipment each worth more than 10 million yuan, such as Waters HPLC System and Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (UPLC/MS-MS), Agilent High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatograph, Thermo Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), infrared detector, UV detector and thin-layer scanner. The Pilot Test Center has a variety of pilot equipment, including spray dryer, dry-pressing granulator and fluid bed granulator, each worth about 3 million yuan, which provides a strong hardware support for R&D of TCM formula granules, Chinese patent medicine and related products.
